Elegant, white luxury wedding cakes

What is the perfect colour for my wedding cake? Well, if any one colour is associated with a wedding it is white. From wedding dresses, to wedding flowers, I doubt white will ever go out of bridal fashion.

White as a tone can lend itself to any look, whether that be classic, traditional or minimal and modern. It adds light to darker spaces, reflects light in lighter spaces - white can completely open up a space as well as add a dramatic foil to an intimate darker backdrop.

Done correctly white is never boring - use different tones, clever light, textures and layering.

A huge wedding trend is the mono colour, using one colour throughout the overall venue design, and white lends itself effortlessly to this.

Team the wedding gown, floral installations, stationary, tableware and of course the cake to compliment each other perfectly and create a seamless white aesthetic.

While you associate pastels with Spring, brights with Summer and rich tones for Autumn, white lends itself to any season - with fresh green for spring, white hot for the peak of summer and crisp whites for the colder months or Winter or Christmas weddings.

Think white blossoms, hydrangea, roses, peonies, berries, freesia… White flowers are available year round.

Below you will find a few of my designs that fit the white vibe - classic, modern, tall, single tier - which is your perfect white wedding cake?
